Keep Aligning to Achieve Fulfillment

Hi friends.
I just needed to stop in real quick and share a wonderful feeling I just had.
I'm trying to schedule in 29 farming and gardening classes to occur over the remainder of the year - both online and hopefully in-person in the open air.
While this may not seem all that amazing to you, it hit me just now while adding these classes to my calendar that 2-5 years ago this act would not have been possible. No where near it.
Two years ago I was buried in anxiety in a job I was trying really hard to enjoy and be devoted to but which was just NOT in alignment with the vision I was creating for my life. I wanted land and a farm and family around laughing and loving together while sharing the joys of sustainable (now the new term is "regenerative") agriculture but I was daily spending all my energy stuck in an office sitting at a computer all day. I basically was trying to straddle two paths, having one foot on the comfortable but anxiety-ridden path and my dreamer foot on the visionary path. But those two paths were diverging quickly and this lady (me) don't do the splits no mo. :)
Two years ago I did not know about this beautiful little living history museum called Pioneer Farms nor even for a second entertained the possibility of taking a part time job anywhere as an Agriculture Lead.
Four years ago I was just beginning to create an actual vision statement for my life and think about holistic goals.
Five years ago I was just beginning to give myself permission to think and care about myself.
These five years have gone by in a flash and yet also seem like an eternity. The latter is more than likely due to the fact that my life has changed and become so much more enriched over these five years than it was before - there are just so many more fulfilling experiences occurring now that each day has some new piece of wonder in it.
While it was 18 months ago that I took the biggest leap of faith to start my own company and leave the security blanket behind, the last five years have been filled with smaller skips and jumps that pulled my life more into alignment.
Because of each one of those little steps - the personal branding seminar that showed me I brought a unique gift to my then job, the holistic management class that taught me how to create a vision for my life and to take actions to create that life, the emotional breakdown that sent me to a counselor who suggested I look at life coaching as a career, getting certified as a life coach and discovering I'm really good at it, turning in my resignation, creating a business while also creating time for my other passions (farming/gardening), reading a random email with a part-time agriculture job in it and being hired within 15 minutes of interviewing - my life has become the oasis I want to escape to.
This doesn't mean there aren't hiccups or tough times - there is always a mix of positive and negative in life. That's just how life is!
But living in alignment with my vision makes it so much easier to handle the rough times mentally. I'm chasing my purpose and passion in life which brings me so much joy and contentment that the hiccups are barely noticeable.
So as I excitedly add these farming and gardening classes to my calendar, and I realize that this is part of my life's vision, I want to encourage each of you to look at your life and weigh out whether the path you are walking on is taking you to the end result you want.
Use this shelter-in-place time to reevaluate your direction and make some plans to bring yourself back in alignment.
If you need some help with that I am more than happy to guide you in that process. I've just posted my vision-setting coaching packages on the website and time is a wastin'. You can pick an individual plan for one-on-one attention or join one of the small group sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.
As John Wayne said in The Cowboys, "We're burnin' daylight!"
Stop putting off having a good life and let's get to work creating the life you want to live. Now back to my calendar....
